What a fantastic sleepover! How lucky are we to live in Leicester with the National Space Centre on our doorstep!
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we didn’t see a few of you becoming pioneer astronauts heading off to the new Mars colony when you’re older. I know that I was certainly VERY inspired by all the wonderful displays at the Space Centre.
AND … you all did Mayflower proud with your wonderful behaviour – as always!
A big thank you to your lovely hard-working teachers for organising the trip, and a big thank you to your fabulous parents and carers for letting you come along.
Now, when was that Lego weekend at the Space Centre – I might just need to pop back and have another look?

    Dear Mayflower School,
I am so delighted to see you all taking such an interest in my favourite subject: Outer Space! Even though I have been dead for quite a few years, I am happy that such an exciting place exists in Leicester for children to go to. I wish I had such a place to visit when I was young. Who knows, maybe one day, one of you might walk in my footsteps on the moon!

    • Mrs Boydon says:

Keep an eye on these Mayflower kids – they’re going to go far …
