Hello Mrs Boydon. This is Anisah from SJNCC. It has been a really busy week and it felt like it was never going to end. It as gone great and me and Maryam have made lots of friends. There was a poster compotition and only two or there posters could go to the head teachers office out of the form and mine and Maryams got chosen. The only thing I am down about is the amount of homework we have.
Hey Anisah – good to hear from you! Sounds like things are going brilliantly for you at SJNCC (apart from all that homework, of course!). I’m not at all surprised that your and Maryam’s work work is already in the Head Teacher’s office! You are such a hard-worker and so positive that I know you’re going to do brilliantly.
Are you in the netball team yet? Any advice for the new Year 6s here at Mayflower?
You take care and keep us up to date with all the news from The Big School!
Mrs B
I am not in the netball them but we are doing it in p.e. The advices I would give to the new year 6’s is not to worry about SAT’s because they don’t take any notice at secondary school. You do these tests called CAT’s tests to put you into sets after half term. I had mine on the second day of school 🙁
My brother was saying there was a fire at school today. What happened?
You poor thing – exams on day two! I’m sure you will have done fine in them. Thanks for the advice for the Year 6s – I’ll be sure to pass it on.
No fire here today, just a visit from the fire engine because of the fire alarm triggered by the delicious French toast fried up by Cooking Club!
Keep in touch

Hi Mrs Boydon. Could you please say Hi to all the teachers especially you, Mrs Stokes and Miss Patel for me. Hope to be hearing from you all. Good Luck in the future and tell Mayflower that the old Year 6’s miss the teachers so much.
I wish I was still in year 6. How is your new role as deputy head Mrs Boydon? I enjoy it my new school but I can not wait till we go to the new City of Leicester building. I can’t wait! We get so much homework which is unbelievable. But Mrs Boydon, primary days are truly the best days of your life.
I am missing all my friends so much. I still keep in touch with Zaynah and Asifa but thats it. Did Mrs Stokes go to the SJNCC opening evening? I still remember when I went to the opening evening and I didn’t even know I was going to get a place there. I definetly agree with Maria primary is the best =)
Hello Mrs Boydon and hello Mrs Chandarana – I haven’t seen you in a long time! I wish I could come back to our primary school. In secondary school you have to find your way to class and we are lucky to move into the new school in October. We are going to be the first people (year7) to move into the new school. I feel excited because evrything in the new school is going to be different.
Thank you – will miss you

Hi everyone!!!! It’s me Sajidah from JMCC. This brings back SOOO many memories… High school is great but not as good as Primary. I miss everything about Mayflower. It’s tough and like Anisah we had exams from Monday. The amount of homework is so stressful in fact I’m having a tiny break from it now. I’m very lucky as I’ve been chosen as School Representative which is awesome.. I remember making my very first blog- Send My Friend To School. The year 6’s are going to have so much fun. I hope everything is well and I miss you all very much
Sajidah
Yes Sajidah I agree with you, the amount of homework is quite a lot!
Is School Representative like a Young Consultant?
I’m one of them too, but in our school it is called Student Council.
Year 6, enjoy yourself!
Zaynah
Well done Ibi!
Well done!
