Good to hear from you – and very pleased to see that you are still keeping an eye on the Blog. Glad to hear that things are going well for you at Crown Hills – you’ll soon be moving into that amazing new building!
Do pop by to say hello, or keep us up to date with your comments on the blog – it’s always lovely to see how ex-Mayflower children are getting on.
Hi Mrs Boydon. How are you finding your new role as deputy head. Hope things are going well in Mayflower. I am having a fantastic time in my new school.
Hi Shifa – so glad you’re enjoying life at Crown Hills. Everyone I’ve seen so far has settled in really well to Year 7 and is having an excellent time, though Anisah did mention there was rather a lot of homework!
Life as Deputy Head is busy, but very interesting, thank you for asking. You’ll be pleased to hear that the whole school is singing together every Friday in Assembly. I hope you’re still singing?
I’m really happy that you’re keeping an eye on the blog. Perhaps you could check back later in the week and leave some of the Year 6 children some comments on their first ever 100 Word Challenge writing. As a seasoned professional, I’m sure you’d have some valuable advice to give.
You take care and come back an see us when you get a chance. Enjoy everything that “Big School” has to offer!

Hello Mrs Boydon! I really miss you. I wish you were still my teacher. I will be meeting you soon when I have my 1 week holiday. Hope to be seeing you soon and tell Mayflower I said Hi!
Lovely to catch up with you on the Blog! I’ll make sure I tell everyone you say “Hi”!
We all really miss you guys too, but we’re so excited for you to be off on your new adventure making new friends and studying whole new subjects. What’s the best thing you’ve done so far at school? What’s the most delicious dinner? What have you been doing in PE? Art? French? Don’t forget – every night before you go to sleep, think of 3 good things that have happened that day!
If you get a moment, you could come back to the blog later in the week and comment on the Year 6s 100 Word Challenge. It’s the first time they’ve done it and I’m sure they’d appreciate your wise words!
Pop in and say hello when you have time – it would be lovely to see you.
Take care
Mrs B
